Crazy (Exploring how to cope with the crazies in our life) Crazy is what our lives can sometimes be described as because of the people and circumstances we deal wiht on a regular basis. This series will explore the cause of crazy and then go into how to put up boundaries in our lives to keep our life more sane.Along the way we will look at some good crazy that God wants for all of us. We are planning a day to celebrate good crazy during the end of this series. We will be dressing crazy and will have some CRAZY food to partake of on this special day. Why not ? The God Questions - So if you could ask God any question, what would it be? Would you ask, "why does a good God allow suffering?" How about, "what really happens when I die?" "How does God lead?" Or, "Can God really be trusted ?" These are all great questions and at Medina Community Church we're exlporing the answers. Courageous (August - October) Courage! So important when it comes to life and living out ones faith. Unfortuantely, it is often lacking in our lives and the culture around us. Join us as we explore the life of Daniel and look at a model of integrity and courage to stand in the midst of a pagan culture. Daniel stood strong in his faith and did not waver. We too can grow in our strength in the Lord.
Live Like You Were Dying (March -April) Have you ever thought, how would I live differently if I knew today was my last day? Join us as we explore together the values that really matter when life is on the line. The series will stretch you and your faith. Youll be asked to take time to think about that which really lasts. It's about having an eternal perspective.
Betrayal (January - February) This series will look at the difficult issues involving betrayal. Perhaps you are dealing with a friendship that has suffered because of disloyalty, or a recent divorce or a broken business partnership. Betrayal and the pain it brings goes deep, But God can work in the midst of our broken spirits.Join us as we look at the life of Joseph to see how God does His good work, even when life looks dim. Joseph put it this way when he described his betrayal by his brothers, "they meant it for evil, but God meant if for good."
